Office Secretary nominated

 



Dear Comrades and friends,

Congratulations to all of you for having taken pains and efforts in crossing the 50% mark in terms of the support to the AIB elected at the Chennai Convention.

Some more unit office bearers have assured to take a positive decision soon.

We are waiting to welcome them back to this Association.

Let us not however slow down on the DDO collection.

We have been patiently watching all pin pricks created by the former Secretary General and his team.

We hope saner counsel will prevail upon those who are with him.

I have been functioning without an Office Secretary so far.  Since I feel that the work is enormously growing, I requested our veteran Comrade at Coimbatore Com. K.R. Dinesh Kumar to help me out.  In spite of his personal commitments and work pressure in his current posting, he has accepted my request.

Accordingly I have nominated Com. K. R. Dinesh Kumar (09443935875) as the Office Secretary of our Association.

Submissions on Pay Anomaly of Superintendents

Dear friends and Comrades, In the meeting convened by the CBEC under the chairmanship of Member (Admn), we have projected the pay anomaly pertaining to our cadre.  While we are yet to get back the parity with DySP of CBI, we have been further overtaken by the Superintendents of Posts and Section officers in the CSS. RED SALUTES TO COM. R. CHANDRAMOULI – FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CADRES IN CENTRAL EXCISE

            On this May Day, Com. R. Chandramouli, our former All India President and present General Secretary of the Chennai unit and Core committee member of the AIB, has left the department on VRS.   His VRS was accepted and he was relieved today.                     In fact, he had tendered his VRS last year itself.   His close friends had prevailed upon him to withdraw it.   However, since he was not prepared to do so, they requested him to at least put the organization in proper shape before going ahead with his personal decision to go on VRS.                        Left to themselves, due to the pathetic manner in which the department has treated their community and exploited them, most of the Superintendents (particularly who joined as Inspectors from 1985 t0 1996) feel that it would be better to quit on VRS.   However, most of them stick on because of family commitments.   Com.
