Dear Comrades and friends,

Congratulations to each and every one who participated in the agitation programme of Demands Day on 28.02.2018.

Photos from some quarters are given above which give a rough idea of how the demands day was observed in various parts of the country.

Elements inimical to the interests of the cadre had tried to sabotage the programme.  But the cadre came out in full support to get themselves heard.

And yes, we shall be heard.

Otherwise, we will have to think on the further course of action.

Long live unity and long live the spirit of Association.

Submissions on Pay Anomaly of Superintendents

Dear friends and Comrades, In the meeting convened by the CBEC under the chairmanship of Member (Admn), we have projected the pay anomaly pertaining to our cadre.  While we are yet to get back the parity with DySP of CBI, we have been further overtaken by the Superintendents of Posts and Section officers in the CSS. RED SALUTES TO COM. R. CHANDRAMOULI – FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CADRES IN CENTRAL EXCISE

            On this May Day, Com. R. Chandramouli, our former All India President and present General Secretary of the Chennai unit and Core committee member of the AIB, has left the department on VRS.   His VRS was accepted and he was relieved today.                     In fact, he had tendered his VRS last year itself.   His close friends had prevailed upon him to withdraw it.   However, since he was not prepared to do so, they requested him to at least put the organization in proper shape before going ahead with his personal decision to go on VRS.                        Left to themselves, due to the pathetic manner in which the department has treated their community and exploited them, most of the Superintendents (particularly who joined as Inspectors from 1985 t0 1996) feel that it would be better to quit on VRS.   However, most of them stick on because of family commitments.   Com.
